Professor of Home Economics Education in University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN),Elizabeth was the coordinator of Home
Economics Unit of the Department of Vocational Education, UNN from 1995-1998 and Head of Department of Vocational Education from 2000- 2003,after being She was and the first female Head of
Department of Voc Ed from 2000-2003.She has developed curricula and instructional materials for Home Economics and other Vocational Education programmes at various levels of education in
Nigeria.
She continues to serve in many UNN Committees and render different forms of services to outside bodies. She has served as consultant to National Universities Commission (NUC) ,Nigeria Educational
Research and Development Council (NERDC), National Council for Colleges of Education (NCCE), UNICEF, UNESCO, UNDP, World Bank. She was a member of the Governing Council of Teacher Registration
Council (TRC) of Nigeria. She is also a member of many national and international professional associations including, International Federation of Home Economics (IFHE). She has also served as
external examiner for many institutions in Nigeria and Africa. Elizabeth has successfully supervised 10 PhD Theses and 58 M Ed. Projects. She has also successfully executed ten locally and
internationally funded research projects. She has published two standard text books in Home Economics namely Home Management for Schools and Colleges, and Home Economics for Junior Secondary
schools. These are widely used in Nigerian schools and in some West African countries. She has also published more than 70 journal articles, 23 book chapters, 10 technical reports and edited six
monographs. She has attended over 100 learned conferences and capacity building workshops both within and outside Nigeria. Elizabeth is the founder of Journal of Home Economics Journal , Home
Economics Research Association of Nigeria (HERAN) in 2000 and Family & Child Development Centre.
Elizabeth is happily married to Maduka Wilfred Anyakoha, a Professor of Physics. They have five children and three grandchildren.

A Senior lecturer in the Department of Vocational Education (Home Economics Unit) University of Nigeria Nsukka.. She had lectured in a teachers' college for nine years before joining the university of Nigeria in 1994.
Professor Igbo is a member of many professional associations, including, Home Economics Research Association of Nigeria, Family and Consumer Sciences Association Washington DC, National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) USA, International Federation of Home Economics (IFHE), among others.
She has authored three books which include The Basics of Dress Pattern Design and have Chapters in many books. She has about 40 journal articles in many reputable journals within and outside Nigeria.
She is a visiting lecturer to some Universities within and outside Nigeria.
She currently lives in Nigeria with her husband and four children.

Nkeiruka is a lecturer II , an examination officer , coordinator for part- time studies , course adviser in the Department of Vocational and Technical Education , University of Benin, Benin City , Nigeria .She is currently a PhD student in the University of Nigeria , Nsukka , Nigeria , specializing in clothing and textiles. She has published a number of journal articles.
